This beautiful horse is not my personal design, but it is a piece that is very special to me. I found the plans in a book years ago, and decided to build one myself, for my own collection. I used glass beads for the eyes, and an antique lady's leather glove to make the tack.

This is a replica of an actual crib I saw in a furniture catalog. I loved the look of it and had to build one for myself. The side's go up and down like the "real" thing. I Will stain and dress the piece to complement the nursery's decor.

This large pie safe is interesting because I saw it on the Antiques Road Show. I took some notes on some of the details and made myself one. The initials on the pie safe were a common element of the time to identify the lady-of-the-house.

This tilt top table is crafted in cherry and is another one from the Antiques Road Show. The box in the center of the table was where the Colonials kept one of their most prized possessions, the family bible.

The cradle was an actual piece in an antique shop. I jotted down some
measurements and made a replica. I think the actual piece was "home-made" as well.
The doll shown was made and dressed by artist Barb Gehrig.

This hope chest is made of cherry and I also crafted the "yo-yo" quilt shown.

This cherry and pine Lady's vanity is one of the first pieces I designed and built and it has working drawer's and tilting mirror.

The couch and wing chair with cherry legs were part of my original ambition to fill my daughter's house with my own furnishings. These are two of my original pieces.
